Primary Care for People with Physical Disabilities

This on-demand CE/CME webinar equips clinicians to better serve patients with physical disabilities in primary care settings. Participants will explore the prevalence of disability in adults, how it intersects with chronic illness and behavioral health, and the systemic barriers to care many patients face. The course also outlines legal responsibilities for healthcare providers and offers practical strategies to implement disability-centered care.

Designed for physicians, nurses, advanced practice clinicians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, this course offers 1.0 credit hour and is free of charge. Presented by experts from Woodhull Hospital and Independence Care System, the webinar is available through December 1, 2026.
