July marks the anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), a significant landmark civil rights law that changed the lives of people with disabilities for the better. In honoring the anniversary, we recognize disability rights advocates of past and present. Our dear friend and colleague Marilyn Saviola is among them.

Marilyn’s passion for disability rights, her persistent and endless advocacy to ensure people with disabilities were able to live and thrive in the community, and our memories of her, will always live on.
