Stephanie’s guest, Dr. Kwame Kitson, is a former medical director at Independence Care System (ICS) who has specialized in family medicine for more than 20 years. Dr. Kitson earned his medical degree at Howard University College of Medicine, and held residency in family medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

In this segment of Independence Radio, Dr. Kitson discusses the importance of honesty in the doctor-patient relationship and offers tips on how to prepare for doctor visits. He also discusses the need for more action to provide better accommodations for people with disabilities at hospitals.
